As an ethnic-Turk, I am distraught by the fact that MED-TV, a station that has propagated violence against the citizens of Turkey and Turks worldwide, continues to be allowed to operate in Belgium. It is not correct to assume that the snake, which bites others, will not one day bite you. The latest developments following the arrest of Abdullah Ocalan should point to you how PKK uses MED-TV to coordinate violent actions not only in Turkey and Northern Iraq but also Europe as well. The coordinated attack in Europe on diplomatic compounds and many other violent demonstrations were coordinated through MED-TV. The call for violence against all civilian targets (including tourists) was again aired through MED-TV. As a result of which people were killed, property and public order continue to be destroyed. Belgium by inaction has failed to play its part against international terrorism and this I strongly protest! The United Kingdom has recovered from their prior mistakes by suspending MED-TV licenses, what is required for Belgium to see the same light? More violence? Should someone burn down a shopping center in the heart of Brussels killing everyone inside? Will you then act? It is further sadenning to see that your country has not even announced a detailed investigation in determining where MED-TV's financing comes from. I strongly urge your government to consider the ceasure of all MED-TV operations and an investigation of its financial resources & connections. MED-TV like PKK is not the voice of the Kurdish people but the voice of a well-established high-profit crime organization responsible for everything from drug smuggling, arson, and money laundering to murder. There are other Kurdish/Turkish stations in operation and also currently being formed by the real Kurdish people in Northern Iraq, Iran and Turkey, people who do not believe in PKK, people who only want peace, prosperity through stability. Let them have that chance. The blame for the loss of even a single human life as a result of MED-TV broadcasts shall due to Belgian in-action rest on your shoulders. Please don't let this happen; join the world community in stamping out terrorism in all forms! Sincerely,
